Green Music

The Green Music movement is a global effort to promote environmental consciousness through music.

Eco-concientious artists have the power, and even the responsibility, to change the world. Eco-musician Randy Todd has set about to do just that with his lifelong commitment to helping the world grow more aware of the importance of clean air, clean water, and biodiversity through his songs. As a traveler, Randy has made it a point to bring eco-awareness with him wherever he goes. On his two-week trip up the Amazon, he wrote the song, Iguacu, about the giant waterfall, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, as a tribute to its majesty and awesome power, and as a reminder that one day we will see what is truly important in this world. Life. All life. That is why the chorus repeats, “All roads will one day lead to Iguacu,” symbolizing the hope that we will one day come to the realization that our destination is awe. Our journey is wonder, and that life itself is made precious by just that thing that so many of us lose sight of, but which all children are born with, the respect for something so much bigger than ourselves.
