The Green Movement in Los Angeles
LA has long been known for its air quality issues. With so many cars on the road, stuck in traffic, the history of smog in Los Angeles parallels its rise as the global epicenter of entertainment culture. So it is fitting that Los Angeleans are finally coming out to ‘shake things up’ in their own unique ways. Realizing that we have the power to affect the air we breathe and the water we drink has been the first step in creating true progress, but now is a time for action more than words. This site looks at the different ways we here in L.A. make a difference, from individual contributions, to environmental movements like the eco-musicians, we will explore the ways we impact the world around us, locally, and globally.
